RB Spa + Beauty is a boutique day spa located along lively and eclectic fourth street, in Long Beach, California. You can find us between Temple and Molino, right next to the city’s favorite farm-to-table eatery, Restauration.
Step in off the busy street (and perhaps, a busy day!) and find tranquility. RB Spa + Beauty was opened by owner and Esthetician, Rebekah Bergstrom, who designed the space to be a clean and elegant environment where the modern woman can find rest, pampering, and services for looking, feeling, and being her best.
Our small staff takes pride in providing the luxury, spa experience in a more personalized, boutique-style setting. On our menu, you’ll find skin and spa treatments, massage therapy, lash extension services, as well as brow shaping and facial waxing. In the shop you’ll find clean, sustainable product lines, Eminence Organic Skincare for your at-home regimen, and a curated collection of goods for healthy and beautiful living.
At RB, you’ll find a professional and caring staff, a holistic approach to skincare, and wellness and beauty as a lifestyle, rather than a sixty-minute service.
We hope to see you in soon!
Rebekah is the founder of this little spa that we all love spending time at. She has been in the industry and working as an Esthetician for over a decade, after graduating from The AVEDA Institute in Seattle, WA, her home town. She has collected experience from working in a handful of spas and salons, but from the beginning, and by beginning, we mean childhood — she has always been an entrepreneur and desired to have her own business. As a creative and a caretaker at heart, she fell in love with the industry, and desired to open a place of not only beauty, but a space of inspiration for life, health, and being the best version of oneself. Outside of the spa, a lot of her time is spent with her husband, her dog, and friends. She is always craving an international trip, loves design, music, and a beautiful, well-orchestrated dinner party.
Taylor was the first to join the team as a service provider besides Rebekah herself, and serves as our lead Esthetician. She is a graduate of The AVEDA Institute here in Los Angeles, who finds great fulfillment in taking care of her guests, from conversing and connecting throughout an appointment, to setting a skin goal with a client and reaching it together as a team, and instilling confidence and making a difference. You can sense her passion for skincare within the first ten minutes of a treatment. Taylor loves Long Beach, it’s diversity, and sense of closeness and community. Outside of the spa, you may bump into her lounging on the beach, enjoying the outdoors, or taking in a sunset.
Danielle is our one and only Massage Therapist. She’s a graduate of American Career College, and long before any official education, she knew she was drawn to massage. From a young age she would set up a massage station in her house and work on friends and family that would visit. Today, the most rewarding moment in her work is when a guest comes in with discomfort or disfunction related to work or just daily routine, and she can send them out the door feeling relief and mobility restored. The feeling of “I did that, I was able to help that person feel better” is why she does what she does. Danielle loves Long Beach and the little-big city that it is. She walks the same route everyday and enjoys greeting the same familiar faces, as well as making friends along the way.
Allie is the face you’ll often see first when you arrive at the spa, or frequently the one on the other end coordinating your appointments. She is a woman of many talents though, as she is also one of our Estheticians. She’s a graduate of Golden West College and one of the things she loves about the industry would be that it is ever-changing and evolving, and that there will always be something new to educate herself on, as well as pass that knowledge along. Being at the front desk, she’d tell you how rewarding it is to get to see how much a client’s day and demeanor can be changed after they come out from a service. In her spare time, you can find her out on a run or practicing yoga, as she finds those to be big forms of mental therapy. She also loves a good concert, anything active, and a quick escape to Joshua Tree or Palm Springs.
